Doing Business in Malaysia

Malaysia has a friendly business environment and welcomes FDI with open arms.

Tax incentives are accorded to qualifying businesses/industries relocating to Malaysia.

Qualifying businesses would be able to employ qualified foreigners under accommodating immigration policies.

Malaysia has ample natural resources and promotes investments in a number of selected sectors which are accorded various incentives, both financial and non-financial.

The rule of law is applied and contracts and agreements are enforceable.

Infrastructure is reasonably good, sea and airports are well connected, power/energy is adequately available and new power generation plants have been planned and works are in progress and would be commissioned progressively based on projected needs.  In recent years, Malaysia has emerged as an attractive regional hub for the services sector with growth seen in financial services, ICT, manufacturing, logistics, and medical tourism.

Malaysia is geographically and socially well placed as an attractive investment destination for diversification of their supply chain and operations more so during this geopolitical tension between China and the USA.

Migration to Malaysia is possible under Malaysia My Second Home Programme (suitable for retirement), the just introduced Premium Visa Program (for retirement and business), and the Resident Pass Programme (for professionals and experts).
