Dr. Marvin Joseph Nair M.B.B.S FRCSI

Dr. Marvin is a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon practicing at Puteri Specialist Hospital. He has been registered as a Specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery in the National Specialist Register since April 19th, 2007 (NSR No: 124477). Dr. Marvin's expertise lies in the management of complex trauma and soft tissue injuries, distraction osteogenesis, joint replacement, and arthroscopic knee surgery.

With over two decades of experience in the medical field, Dr. Marvin's credentials are impressive. He completed his housemanship at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India, in 1994-1995 and obtained his MBBS from Mangalore University, India, in 1994. He then went on to complete his housemanship at Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Bahru in 1996-1997. From 1997 to 1999, he worked as a medical officer at Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Bahru, with rotations in the Department of Urology, General Surgery, and Orthopaedics. In 1999, he was awarded a fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons (Ireland).

Dr. Marvin continued to enhance his skills and knowledge by attending various courses and programs. In July 2000, he completed the AO Course on Principles of Operative Fracture Management, followed by the AO Course in Ankle and Foot Surgery in August 2000. He then served as a Registrar in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the National University Hospital, Singapore, from 2000 to 2001. In 2001, he obtained his Specialist Accreditation from the Ministry of Health, Malaysia.

In April 2009, Dr. Marvin completed the HRM Basic Course in Microsurgery at the National University Hospital, Singapore. From 2001 to May 2003, he served as an Orthopaedic Specialist at Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Bahru. Since then, he has been practicing as a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at Puteri Specialist Hospital in a private practice.
